Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 September 2026
This policy explains the information SFDown needs to process a download request and how that information is handled.
Links and downloaded files
When you submit a link, SFDown uses it to identify the platform and retrieve publicly available media for that request. You do not need to provide a social media username or password.
SFDown does not provide user accounts or a personal download-history page. Downloaded files are delivered to your browser; they are not presented as a permanent library on SFDown.
Operational information
Infrastructure providers may process standard request information such as IP address, user agent, requested path, time and security events. This information may be retained for a limited period to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service.
SFDown uses Google Tag Manager to load measurement tools that count how the downloader is used: a link submitted, a result returned, an error shown, a file downloaded. These events record the page and the submitted link, not a name, an email address or a social media account. This page itself is served without those tags.
Advertising
SFDown is funded by advertising. We use Google AdSense to serve and measure ads. Google and other advertising vendors may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or similar identifiers to provide, personalize and measure ads where permitted.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s previous visits to this website or other websites. You can read how Google uses data on partner sites at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and manage personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com.
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a consent message asks for your choices before advertising or analytics cookies are used. Where a privacy-options control is shown on the site, you can use it to review or withdraw those choices. This page itself is served without advertising tags.
Questions and requests
Privacy questions can be sent to sfcontact88@gmail.com. Do not include social media passwords or other sensitive account credentials.
