What is a TikTok downloader?
A TikTok downloader saves a public TikTok post as a file on your device. SFDown returns the video as an MP4 without the logo that drifts across the frame, and a photo slideshow as separate images rather than one rendered clip.

Troubleshooting
A watermark-free source is unavailable
The media returned depends on the public sources TikTok exposes for that post. Retry once and confirm the original post is still publicly playable.
The TikTok video is private
Private, friends-only, age-restricted or login-only videos cannot be processed because SFDown does not sign in to TikTok for you.
A short TikTok link has expired
Open the video in the TikTok app or website and copy a fresh link from its Share menu instead of reusing an old redirected URL.
The slideshow came back as photos, not a video
That is by design. SFDown returns the original images and the sound separately, because the rendered slideshow clip is lower quality and watermarked.
There is no MP3 button
TikTok did not expose an audio source for this post, which happens with muted videos and sounds removed for licensing. The video still downloads with its audio inside.
Frequently asked questions
Can I share a link straight from the app?
On Android, yes. Add SFDown to your home screen, and it appears in the Share sheet: open a post, tap Share, pick SFDown, and the link is fetched for you. iPhone does not offer this, so paste the link instead.
Can I download TikTok videos from private accounts?
No. Only public videos that anyone can watch without logging in can be downloaded.
Can I download photos from a TikTok slideshow?

Can I download just the sound?
Yes. When a TikTok post has a music track, it appears as a separate audio download next to the video or photos.

What quality will the video be?
The resolution TikTok serves for the post, usually the one it was uploaded at, up to 1080p. Nothing is upscaled or compressed again.
Can I download a TikTok without the username overlay?
Yes. The watermark-free source has neither the moving logo nor the username stamp. When TikTok does not expose that source for a post, SFDown tells you instead of returning a watermarked copy.
Is downloading TikTok videos allowed?
Saving your own videos, or videos whose creator has allowed downloads, is fine. Copyright stays with the creator and TikTok’s terms still apply, so do not repost someone else’s video as your own.
